V. Philip Boname
President
Philip is the driving force behind the development and growth of Urbanics Consultants Ltd. He has more than 48 years of professional experience in a wide variety of studies related to commercial and residential market feasibility, urban development and transit-oriented developments. In addition, he has extensive experience in conducting financial feasibility studies, economic impact assessments and downtown revitalization studies.

Claire McQuarrie-Jones, MCIP, RPP
Senior Vice President
Claire specializes in conducting revitalization studies, specialty retail studies, land use marketability and economic impact studies for residential, resort and retail land uses. She is also proficient in survey development and qualitative analysis. Claire is a graduate of the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning program from Ryerson University, Toronto as well as the Bachelor of Environmental Studies program from York University, Toronto.

Siavash Tahan
Vice President
Siavash specializes in conducting residential land use studies and financial feasibility studies. He has over 3 years of experience in real estate financing, working both in the commercial mortgage lending sector as well as on the residential underwriting side. He is also familiar with public policy and its impacts on real estate and the development industry. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a combined economics and politics degree and is also pursuing his CFA designation.

Brendan Dawe
Associate
Brendan is experienced with the practice and politics of public consultation and land use, and associated implications for development. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BA in Economics and a minor in Political Science.

Julian Wong
Analyst
Julian is experienced in private sector consultation and feasibility studies. He has over five years of experience working with corporate commercial real estate firms specializing in research and market analytics across all asset types. In addition, he has four years of experience in the development industry in Greater Vancouver. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia completing both a Diploma in Urban Land Economics specialization in Appraisal and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Economics.

Kyle Yoshida
Analyst
Kyle holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Specialization) from the University of British Columbia and is a Leslie Wong Fellow. Prior to joining Urbanics, Kyle worked in the financial services and accounting industries. He is experienced in data analytics as well as quantitative and qualitative research methods.
