Ali Sarpoushan
Principal
Ali is an experienced urban development professional with over 15 years in planning, real estate, and full-cycle project management. He has played a key role in delivering more than $10 billion worth of commercial and residential projects across British Columbia and Alberta, leading initiatives from early concept through to completion. With expertise spanning design, land use programming, financing, and project execution, Ali brings a well-rounded approach to every stage of our projects. He is passionate about shaping community-oriented spaces that stand the test of time and holds a MBA from Vancouver Island University.

Claire McQuarrie-Jones, MCIP, RPP
Senior Vice President
Claire specializes in conducting revitalization studies, specialty retail studies, land use marketability and economic impact studies for residential, resort and retail land uses. She is also proficient in survey development and qualitative analysis. Claire is a graduate of the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning program from Ryerson University, Toronto as well as the Bachelor of Environmental Studies program from York University, Toronto.

Peter Scholz
Director, Planning & Economics
Peter Scholz is a dynamic and seasoned planner and project manager with over 25 years of experience delivering impactful land use and community planning solutions across Western Canada, the North, and international markets. Renowned for his ability to navigate complex planning environments, Peter has led transformative projects ranging from long-range municipal strategies and environmental policy to Indigenous governance and major infrastructure planning

Brendan Dawe
Vice President, Housing & Economics
Brendan has extensive experience in urban planning and market analytics, with an emphasis on evolving developments in housing and land use policy in British Columbia. He has contributed greatly to market and economic studies for housing, industrial, institutional and commercial development, as well as conducting extensive urban planning studies for governments across Western Canada. Brendan is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Bernadette Gessler
Finance Director
As Director of Finance, Bernadette brings a solid foundation in financial strategy and project oversight. With a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance, she plays a key role in driving strategic growth while ensuring strong financial controls, accurate forecasting, and effective capital management. Her analytical expertise and deep understanding of development finance provide critical insights that support sound project decisions and help clients achieve their goals.
Saman Brar
Project Coordinator
Saman is an aspiring professional with a keen interest in urban planning, land-use policies, and development. She is dedicated to sustainability and the creation of environments that harmonize economic growth with social equity. Her experience includes contributions to housing needs assessments, which have provided her with valuable insights into the intricate challenges of urban planning. Saman earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Policy Studies from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is presently pursuing a Diploma of Urban Land Economics (DULE) at the University of British Columbia.
