Urbanics acted as the primary consultant and prepared a revitalization study for the Prince George Downtown Business Improvement Association (DBIA) and the City of Prince George. The study involved identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that could be leveraged or mitigated to affect the long-term viability of the City’s downtown. Land-use marketability studies were undertaken for retail, office, and residential uses, with careful consideration placed on arts and cultural facilities, civic and institutional facilities, educational facilities, and open space and parks. Urbanics also recommended various management and implementation strategies for the DBIA.
