Airdrie Qualico Retail Market Study

Qualico Development Ltd. retained Urbanics to prepare a commercial demand study for a 350 acre site located in the northwest section of Airdrie, Alberta. The study provided a review of local economic conditions, site-specific factors, the competitive market environment, and a derivation of market demand for expanded retail facilities on the site. Urbanics identified challenges and opportunities for retail development. The final reportc recommended a number of development options, which included creating a neighbourhood shopping centre and phasing in diverse forms of retail development.
