Port Coquitlam, BC (2013)

The study provided an assessment of the economic and community impacts of the project. It examined:

Predator Ridge Resort

Vernon, BC (2010)

The Economic Impact Study for the Predator Ridge Resort complex provided an assessment of the economic and fiscal impacts of the project on the City and Region. The study examined:

  • Capital cost and infrastructure investments

  • Employment impacts

  • Municipal revenue implications

  • Additional community and development impacts

Economic Impact Analysis of the proposed Summit at Taylor's Mill

Kimberley, BC (2008)

The study assessed the economic impacts of the proposed Summit at Taylor's Mill over a 10 year study period. It estimated:

  • Municipal revenue implications, such as taxes, user charges, fees, permit charges and rising assessment values

  • Employment impacts, including employment during the construction phase as well as operation

Granville Island Economic Impact Assessement

Vancouver, BC (2008)

  • The study assessed the:

    • Historical tax receipts (1982-2006) as determined by property taxes, provincial sales taxes, and federal sales taxes

    • On-Island employment levels, measured in full-time employment equivalents with discussion of part-time and seasonal employment

    • Sales and revenues generated throughout the Island

  • Interviewed and surveyed the on-island business community to gather employment and revenue data
